is currently operated by the Houston Airport System as a
joint civilian & military airport. A Class IV
Airport, Air Traffic Control Tower operates 24
hrs.

serves civilian General Aviation, NASA, Civil Air Patrol,
Texas Air National Guard, Texas Army National Guard, US
Coast Guard
Wings Over
Houston, a major flight show, is held each year at
Ellington Airport.
